Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the Morse Code News Reader mobile application (the “App”), operated by Brian Jolly (“we”, “us”, or “our”), handles information. Your privacy matters to us, and we have designed the App to collect as little information as possible.
We do not collect, request, or store any personally identifiable information through the App. Specifically, the App does not collect:
The App uses your device’s internet connection to download news content — such as articles, headlines, or feeds — from public news sources or content providers so it can be presented to you in Morse code. These requests are limited to retrieving that content and do not include any personal information about you.
As with any internet request, standard technical information (such as your device’s IP address) may be processed by the hosting or content-delivery infrastructure in order to deliver the requested content. We do not use this information to identify you, and we do not combine it with any other data.
Any settings, preferences, or progress you create in the App are stored locally on your device. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you uninstall the App.
The App requests only the permissions it needs to function — primarily internet access to download content. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or storage beyond what is required for the App’s own data.
The App does not integrate advertising networks, analytics providers, or social media tracking. Content downloaded by the App may be served through standard hosting or content-delivery providers, which act solely to deliver that content.
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because the App collects no personal information, it is suitable for users of all ages.
Because the App does not collect or transmit personal information, there is no personal data for us to secure or expose. Content downloads occur over standard secure connections where available.
Since we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data for you to access, correct, or request deletion of. If you have any questions about your privacy, you may contact us using the information below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the App’s data practices change in a material way, we will update this policy accordingly before or when that change takes effect.
